May 2, 2026 | Lewiston–Lapwai Corridor
On May 2, 2026, VFW Post 10043 will proudly participate in the national VFW Day of Service by serving our community through a highway cleanup project along U.S. Highway 95 between Lewiston, Idaho and Lapwai, Idaho.
This effort focuses on our Post’s adopted section of highway near the Nez Perce National Historical Park Visitor Center, helping keep one of our region’s most visible travel corridors clean, safe, and welcoming.
Working in coordination with the Idaho Transportation Department and Nez Perce County, our volunteers will remove litter and debris while following all safety and Adopt-A-Highway guidelines.
This project reflects the VFW’s continued commitment to service beyond the uniform and demonstrates how veterans continue to lead through community involvement and civic responsibility.
Families, friends, and members of the general public are welcome to join us.
